History of Essiac

Canadian nurse Rene Cassie discovered an ancient Native American herbal remedy that has been used for hundreds of years to fight cancer.

She named her formula ESSIAC – or Caisse spelled backwards.

Nurse Rene Cassie was able to reduce her original formula of eight herbs to four main herbs that she found to be the most effective for cancer: Burdock Root, Sheep Sorrel, Slippery Elm and Indian Rhubarb.

Rene Cassie first began to promote Essiac in Canada as a cancer treatment in the 1920s. Today, Essiac may be sold as herbal supplements as long as they do not claim to treat or cure cancer.

EartHerbs uses Nurse Rene Cassie four main herbs in the formulation of EartHerbs ESSIAC HERBAL EXTRACT.

EartHerbs uses only Organic herbs in ESSIAC HERBAL EXTRACT.

-Removes undigested food particles and promotes regular bowel movements to prevent buildup of toxins, excessive fermentation and putrefaction.

-Helps promote regular bowel movements.

-Helps lose weight.

-Helps with Candida albicans overgrowth.

-Stimulates peristaltic action.

-Maximizes digestion.

-Promotes the peristaltic action of the colon and increases gastrointestinal circulation.

-Increases the flow of bile which in turn cleans the gall bladder, bile ducts and liver.

-Gently cleanses and detoxifies the colon.

-Helps boosts the immune system.

-Restores the acid/alkaline balance.

Note: The process of digestion (ingestion to defecation) normally takes between twelve and twenty-four hours, assuming that the colon is fully functional. Irregular and infrequent bowel movements allow undigested foods to remain in the colon, causing fermentation and buildup of toxic residue. EARTHERBS ESSIAC HERBAL EXTRACT helps remove these food particles, promoting colon health and normal function.

EARTHERBS ESSIAC HERBAL EXTRACT uses a concentrated herbal production method at low heat by processing the herbs with alcohol. This method produces a very concentrated herbal source.

EARTHERBS ESSIAC HERBAL EXTRACT programs provide guidance to ensure that a consistent regime is followed for best results. The program you choose to follow will depend on your current health condition. Below are the daily suggested amounts, should you choose to follow the program.

Each of the herbs of EARTHERBS ESSIAC HERBAL EXTRACT has its own chemical make-up and effect on the body, and there are plenty of studies out there on the unique functions:

Burdock root: In traditional herbal texts, burdock root is described as a “blood purifier” and is used to clear the bloodstream of toxins. Burdock root helps play a role in preventing liver damage caused by alcohol, chemicals, or medications. In 1966, Hungarian researchers discovered anti-tumor activity in burdock root due to inulin, which attaches to white blood cells and enhances their function. It also contains benzaldehyde, which has a significant anti-cancer effects in humans.

It is also used for cold and flu, gastrointestinal (GI), joint pain (rheumatism), gout, bladder infections, high blood pressure, “hardening of the arteries” (arteriosclerosis), and liver disease.

Sheep sorrel (entire plant): Sheep sorrel is a rich source of oxalic acid, sodium, potassium, iron, manganese, phosphorous, beta carotene, and vitamin C. Also contains chlorophyll, which helps to carry oxygen to the cells of the body. Mild diuretic, mild antiseptic, and a mild laxative. It has a number of reported uses as a folk remedy that include treatment for inflammation, diarrhea and fever. Sheep sorrel was used in cancer treatment as early as the 1740’s. The plant also contains compounds toxic to intestinal parasites (worms). Sheep sorrel was considered the most active herb in Essiac for stimulating cellular regeneration, detoxification and cleansing, based on reports by Rene Caisse.

Slippery Elm Bark: Helps regulate the elimination process of digestion, easing both constipation and diarrhea. It has been shown to possess anti-tumor activity and an anti-inflammatory for the digestive system. It also lubricates bones and joints, and contains fatty acids. Fatty acids similar to those in slippery elm have been shown to boost the immune system in studies on mice. People take slippery elm for colic, diarrhea, constipation, hemorrhoids, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), bladder and urinary tract infections, syphilis, herpes, and for expelling tapeworms. It is also used for protecting against stomach and duodenal ulcers, for colitis, diverticulitis, GI inflammation, and too much stomach acid.

Turkish Rhubarb Root: This detoxifying herb is world-famous for its healing properties. Rhubarb root purges the body of bile, parasites, and stagnating food in the gut by stimulating the gall duct to expel toxic waste matter. It has been shown to alleviate chronic liver problems by cleansing the liver. Rhubarb root improves digestion and helps improve the appetite. It has also been shown to help reduce ulcers, alleviate disorders of the spleen and colon, relieve constipation, and help heal hemorrhoids and bleeding in the upper digestive tract.

Capsules or Tablets VS Liquid

When you really need the nutritional properties of herbs, you have to be able to assimilate them quickly and completely. We are NOT what we eat, but what we DIGEST! A liquid is infinitely easier to digest than a capsule.

The digestive system of children and elderly people is often too weak to assimilate capsules. A liquid can be given to either children or senior citizen with complete confidence and be assured of receiving invaluable help from liquid herbs and vitamins.

Companies that clean out septic tanks will verify that capsules, tablets and pills MUST be hard to digest because, when pumped out of the septic system, they are found to be virtually unchanged.
